Booking Terms & Conditions
The services FTT Travel Limited ("FTT Travel", "we", "us", "our") provides are subject to the following terms and conditions, unless otherwise specified in the customer contract. These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). Any party purchasing and/or using the services of FTT Travel Limited agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions herein.
1. Initial Deposit
Reservations will be confirmed, based upon availability, upon written notice from us to you of the number of travellers in your party and upon receipt of a deposit. An initial non-refundable deposit is required for each booking and will be advised by your Travel Consultant at the time of reservation.
Special payment policies may apply and will be advised at the time of reservation. Should payment not be received by the due date, all reservations may be cancelled. FTT Travel Limited is not responsible for any penalties, fare increases or fees incurred due to late payment. The payment of a deposit to FTT Travel Limited implies acceptance of these Booking Terms & Conditions.
2. Payment
Upon confirmation of the booking:
- 100% of any airfares are required at the time of ticket issuance.
- A 50% deposit of land arrangements is required within 3 days of confirmation.
- The balance payment is required 60 days before departure.
All payments must be paid in full at the time of transaction, unless a credit facility is in place. An exact amount is required and it is your responsibility to bear any bank charges incurred (including third-party bank charges). FTT Travel Limited reserves the right to cancel the booked arrangement without refund to the Customer if full payment is not made in a timely manner.
In cases where a credit facility has been pre-approved, the Customer shall make full payment to FTT Travel Limited within the credit period. A 2% per month interest charge applies to all outstanding payments.
Accepted Payment Methods
Payments may be made by bank transfer to the account details provided on your invoice, or by debit/credit card (American Express, Visa, or Mastercard). Bank account details and FPS information will be issued together with your invoice.
3. Prices
All prices are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars unless otherwise indicated. FTT Travel Limited can guarantee airfares only for reservations fully settled. Air tickets must be issued to guarantee against price increases, fuel surcharges and to avoid cancellation of air reservations. Government and supplier-imposed taxes and fees are subject to increase at any time and are not covered by FTT Travel Limited.
Prices do not include airline baggage or seat assignment fees, ancillary fees, passport and visa fees, certain departure taxes, gratuities, meals, beverages, insurance, telephone calls, additional bedding charges, laundry service, or other miscellaneous charges of a personal nature, except where otherwise specified.
4. Cancellations & Refund
The Customer must notify us in writing (by mail or email) of any cancellation. Cancellations are effective on the day received by us. Your payment to us will be refunded, less a cancellation fee in an amount that depends on when we receive your notice as follows:

All refunds are subject to our service & administration fees, prevailing exchange rates, and the refund policies of each hotel, airline, cruise line, and other vendor — some of which have onerous cancellation policies where funds paid are non-refundable. Accordingly, the amount refunded to you may be further reduced as a result of these policies. We strongly recommend that you secure travel insurance that covers lost deposits and cancellation fees.
Once travel has begun, no refunds will be issued for any unused or partially used travel component for any reason.
FTT Travel Limited has no liability for cancellation fees, penalties, or charges that may be imposed by airlines, hotels, or suppliers due to the Customer's cancellation request. Any cancellation order placed with FTT Travel Limited must allow sufficient time, within normal working hours (Monday through Friday), for FTT Travel Limited to process the cancellation notification with the relevant suppliers. In some bookings the cancellation date and time is critical and will determine whether fees are applied. Where refunds are requested upon cancellation, FTT Travel Limited reserves the right to charge an administration / handling fee.
5. Alterations Made by the Customer
Any alterations made by the Customer after receipt of full payment will incur a fee of HK$1,000 per person per transaction, and additional airline, hotel and/or supplier fees may also be charged. Any change made will result in the reservation being re-priced at the rate in effect at the time of the change. No refunds will be granted for unused services once travel has commenced.
Changes in return transportation may be made only through FTT Travel Limited's representatives, to the extent permitted by the carrier(s)' tariff. Changes that result in additional fees due to price differences, fuel surcharges, ticket re-issuance fees, etc. are due and payable to FTT Travel Limited at the time of change.
6. No Show & Name Changes
In the case of a Customer no-show for a booked service, the Customer understands that the related airlines, hotels, or suppliers may take action at their discretion based on their terms and industry practice, including but not limited to:
a) cancellation of all subsequent flights or travel arrangements; b) the application of a penalty charge to the Customer; and/or c) the Customer forfeiting the service without refund.
These actions may be taken without prior notification. After notification of a no-show, FTT Travel Limited will recommend the best possible course of action based on the Customer's requirements. FTT Travel Limited has no liability for any fees, charges, or service interruption caused by a Customer no-show.
Name changes for flights are subject to airline fees. FTT Travel Limited reserves the right to charge a HK$300 handling fee on top of airline fees for any name changes or incorrect names provided.
7. Alterations and Cancellations by Suppliers
In the event that the Customer's travel plan is interrupted by airlines, hotels, or other suppliers, FTT Travel Limited will make best efforts on the Customer's behalf to communicate requests to suppliers and to seek service protection, provided that the interruption is notified to FTT Travel Limited and that the suppliers are reachable. If FTT Travel Limited is unable to make contact with the suppliers, viable alternatives will be suggested where applicable. Where refunds are requested upon supplier-initiated alteration or cancellation, FTT Travel Limited reserves the right to charge an administration / handling fee.
8. Travel Insurance
FTT Travel Limited strongly recommends the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation, medical, and baggage cover. Medical expenses in some destinations are considerably higher than in Hong Kong. Under no circumstances will FTT Travel Limited be liable for any consequence or loss due to the Customer not being adequately covered by travel insurance.
9. Passports, Visas & Travel Documents
It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that all passports, visas and necessary travel documents are valid for travel at departure and remain valid for a minimum of six months beyond the return travel date. FTT Travel Limited is not liable for any consequences or loss due to the Customer not having the required passport, visa, or travel documents. It is the Customer's responsibility to ascertain whether any vaccinations or other health precautions are needed beforehand.
10. Limitation of Liability
By making a reservation, the Customer acknowledges that FTT Travel Limited shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, and that the sole extent of FTT Travel Limited's liability, if any, shall never exceed the amount actually paid by the Customer to FTT Travel Limited.
These Booking Terms & Conditions are subject to change at any time at FTT Travel Limited's sole discretion without prior notice. Any disputes arising out of any travel services offered shall be subject to the laws of the HKSAR.
11. Discrepancy
The Customer is responsible for verifying, before travelling, that the correct arrangements and documents have been supplied, including tickets, hotel reservations, visas, passport validity, and any other travel services. In the event of a transaction discrepancy that causes the Customer's travel plans to be adjusted, altered, or cancelled, and the discrepancy is wholly attributable to an error of FTT Travel Limited, the Company shall bear the responsibility.
