Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website www.ftt-travel.com and any related sub-sites operated by FTT Travel Limited, a Hong Kong incorporated company ("FTT Travel", "we", "us", "our"). "You" or "your" refers to any person who visits our site, submits an enquiry, or purchases travel services arranged through us, whether for yourself or for others.

By using our site or engaging us to arrange travel services, you agree to be bound by these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

1. Who We Are

FTT Travel is a licensed travel consultancy specialising in bespoke leisure tours, corporate and MICE travel, educational tours, shore excursions and curated experiences. We act as an agent for the underlying suppliers (airlines, hotels, ground operators, cruise lines, activity providers — collectively, "Suppliers") and arrange services on your behalf. The contract for the actual travel service is between you and the Supplier.

2. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with the effective date. Continued use of the site or engagement of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Enquiries, Quotations and Bookings

• 3.1 An enquiry submitted through our site or shared with our consultants is a request for a quotation, not a confirmed booking.
• 3.2 Quotations are valid for the period stated in the proposal and are subject to Supplier availability and price changes until full payment is received and confirmation is issued.
• 3.3 A booking is only confirmed once you have signed (or otherwise accepted in writing) the relevant booking form, paid the required deposit or full amount, and received a written confirmation from us.
• 3.4 You are responsible for checking that all names, dates, passport details and other booking information match your travel documents exactly. Corrections after ticketing or supplier confirmation may incur fees.

4. Payment

• 4.1 Prices are quoted in the currency stated on the proposal. Where currency conversion is required, the rate prevailing at the time of payment will apply.
• 4.2 Deposits, balance payments and payment deadlines are stated on each proposal or invoice. Late payment may result in cancellation by the Supplier and the loss of any deposit.
• 4.3 We may collect payment on behalf of Suppliers. Service fees, payment processing fees and bank charges (where applicable) are stated on the invoice.

5. Cancellations, Changes and Refunds

• 5.1 Cancellations and changes are governed by the terms of the underlying Supplier (airline, hotel, cruise line, ground operator, etc.). These can be strict, including non-refundable deposits and full-fare cancellation penalties close to travel.
• 5.2 To cancel or change a booking, please contact your consultant in writing. The effective date of cancellation is the date we receive your written notice during business hours.
• 5.3 Any refund is processed only after we have received the corresponding refund from the Supplier. Refunds are made to the original method of payment in the original currency where possible.
• 5.4 Service fees charged by FTT Travel for arranging, amending or cancelling a booking are non-refundable.

6. Travel Documents, Visas and Insurance

• 6.1 You are responsible for holding a passport valid for the period required by your destination(s) (typically at least six months from the date of return), all required visas, transit permits, vaccinations and health certificates.
• 6.2 We can assist with visa documentation on a best-efforts basis but do not guarantee visa approval, and any non-refundable costs (deposits, ticket fares, etc.) arising from a visa refusal remain payable by you.
• 6.3 We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, repatriation, baggage, cancellation and curtailment for the entire trip.

7. Our Role and Liability

• 7.1 As an agent, FTT Travel arranges services on your behalf and is not the operator of the underlying transport, accommodation or activity. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, default or delay of any Supplier or third party.
• 7.2 We exercise reasonable care in selecting Suppliers and in describing services on our site and in proposals. However, descriptions, photographs and itineraries are illustrative — actual experiences may vary due to weather, local conditions, Supplier availability or force majeure.
• 7.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with our services shall not exceed the service fee paid to FTT Travel for the relevant booking.
• 7.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, war, civil unrest, strikes, government action, airspace closures, or extreme weather.

9. Conduct on Tour

You agree to behave responsibly during travel arrangements made through FTT Travel and to comply with the lawful instructions of Suppliers, tour leaders and local authorities. We and our Suppliers reserve the right to refuse or terminate services without refund where conduct endangers safety or causes serious disruption.

10. Use of the Website

• 10.1 The site, including text, graphics, photographs, logos and underlying software, is owned by or licensed to FTT Travel and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
• 10.2 You shall not (a) copy, scrape, reverse engineer or redistribute material from the site without our written consent; (b) make speculative, false or fraudulent enquiries; (c) interfere with the security or operation of the site; or (d) use the site in any unlawful way.
• 10.3 We may suspend or terminate access to the site or to specific accounts at any time without notice where we reasonably suspect breach of these Terms.

11. User Submissions and Reviews

Where you submit photographs, comments, reviews or other content to FTT Travel, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, edit and display that content in connection with our services and marketing. You confirm that you own the rights to the content submitted and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

12. Privacy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
